You might spend a morning on home visits, seeing where our children come from and the challenges they face in the slums of Kaptembwo. You could help a family with the everyday tasks that make a difference like, washing, cleaning, mending furniture or helping build shelter, helping with food and shopping or digging a latrine.
Out on the farm, you can help plant, weed and harvest the crops that keep fresh food on our children's plates.
Think of your volunteering experience as an adventure. Give yourself to it, and you'll leave having made a real difference to a child, their family, and quite possibly to yourself.
We would like you to return to your home, understanding the challenges the Kaptembwo community face, but knowing that your time with us made a real difference.
The safety and wellbeing of our children comes first, always. All volunteers complete our screening process before they arrive, including background checks, and work within clear guidelines and alongside our staff at all times.
